For each day there is: •Lesson Outlines – in 8×8″, 10×10″, and 12×12″ (you can print whichever size you need) •Ali will be painting the pumpkin and maple leaf lessons on an 8×8″ surface, and the sunflower bouquet on a 10×10″ surface •Lesson Resources – color chart (how to mix the colors for the lesson), reference image, and the finished painting image If you’re using an iPad or Tablet: This downloaded PDF pack can be found in the “Files” section on your tablet. If you have downloaded it to a computer: It will be located under “Downloads”. We suggest viewing your reference image and color chart on a screen while you are painting from them because printers vary in color and often make images darker.

2. Print your templates. Print your templates. Make sure that printer is set to print “full size” not “scale to fit”. Trim off the excess border around the template. 3. Tape the template onto your surface with a sheet of transfer paper underneath the template. Then trace the outlines on your surface. If you don’t have transfer paper, you can also just scribble on the back of the printed template with a graphite pencil and they will allow you to create a transfer when traced. Ali likes to use a skinny script liner brush to paint over her traced outlines with light purple paint before beginning her paintings. This covers up any graphic lines so she is ready to paint! Watch the short video below for step-by-step instructions on how to add your outlines to your painting surface.

6. Participate in Paint Week from September 28th – October 2nd! Each day of the challenge, Ali will go live at 1pm ET in the Paint Week 2026 Facebook Group (remember to use the secret code “PAINTING TIME” when you join!) to teach that day’s lesson. We will send an email 10 minutes before the lesson begins with a direct link to the video stream. Can’t attend live? We’ll share replay links at 4pm ET each day so you can watch and paint along whenever your schedule allows. (All replays are available until October 5th.) Post your painting in the Paint Week 2026 Facebook group, we’d love to see it! You can also share on Instagram or Facebook. If you include #paintweek2026 in the description and tag @Ali_Kay_Studio, we will get to see it and celebrate you! Want to get text message reminders about the lessons and replays?
