On my way to the studio

As I was driving to my studio yesterday morning. Full of noise in my head and excitement to what the future looks like. Excitement and apprehension for the looming change which is about to happen. I was totally focused on all the things I needed to get through that day. After a very productive meeting with my business coach Mark. A kind of frustration welled up inside me, as I thought there is not enough hours in a day. Concerns I will run out of time to get things done before my knee operation.

When suddenly I caught a glimpse of white blooms as I was driving past Thornton Church. A delicate row of daisies waving in the breeze by the roadside. A little further down some bright yellow buttercups winked at me. As if to say don't worry everything will be OK.

I was reminded of a quote by Scarlet O'Hara.

"For today I'm OK. I'll think about it tomorrow."

A sense of peace washed over me and I had the most productive day. Just working my way through each task methodically.

Letting go of my worries and staying focused. I took a small bite of the pie and got a lot done. Feeling like I had a good day.
