What is Abstract Art?

Many of us love abstract art. Have you ever asked why we love it so much?

Some of us also hate it, have we ever asked why we hate it? Maybe its a lack of understanding and logic?

Abstract art is not meant for us to tag a logical meaning to it. As we all see art in different ways of interpretation.

It is an appeal for us to simply enjoy it for what it evokes in us. Giving us the freedom to interpret colours, forms and emotions on our own terms without a single correct meaning. Allowing the viewer to find their own meaning and connection to the work. Creating a strong emotional and personal experience.

To look at an abstract piece the viewer must adopt an open mind without seeking a literal representation, but just to enjoy the colours, composition and texture. Abstract art is non judgemental.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge" Albert Einstein

Abstract artists follow the looking glass of their imagination and create what they see, feel, hear, smell or taste. Imagination can never be separated from us it is part of human existance itself. As humans we are constantly evolving and the key is to remain open-minded and never stop learning.

Abstract art is an idiom of unrealistic flights of fancy or an imaginative idea. Often fantastiscal and an impractical story. A creative process or a notion not grounded in reality, truth or practicality. A beautiful pipe dream of wild fantasy and wonder.

Art is a place where the imagination soars like an eagle. Which is spiritual and celestial.

Have a beautiful day.
